As a parent you worry and fret about who your children will become and the influence you will give in their shaping. At any age of child rearing you'll find yourself changing, for the better I can hope, but there is no escaping it. You grow in ways only a parent can. You change your views on life and love and learn that your heart is greater than humanly possible for when you feel as though it'll burst with love, it only grows larger. Lead by example; for our children watch us more closely than we think. The young women in the media may be in the public eye and girls may swoon and we may think "my god this is who my child is looking up to" but the reality is, we are our children's Idols, role models and whom they someday hope to imitate. If we stand true and hold tight to our values our children will follow in our footsteps.
-It's not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can't tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it, myself.-
